Therapeutic Approach

Are you struggling to create sustainable ways of coping with stress? Is unresolved
trauma currently affecting your overall sense well-being? Do you struggle to make
decisions, set boundaries, honor your needs, and communicate assertively?

I specialize in helping survivors of trauma build emotional intelligence and develop
appropriate coping skills to manage stress by providing a safe space for my clients to
move through their feelings of pain and achieve emotional regulation. As a trauma
informed practitioner, I approach my work with cultural and spiritual humility, and
believe our inherited forms of coping with life may be the result of unhealed
intergenerational transmission that were once a means of survival and familial strength.

I am concerned with the usual stages of human development and the attachment
bonds that are formed from infancy through adulthood. While working with client’s, I
believe in providing a warm, relaxing, and empathetic environment. I am highly attuned
and attentive to the needs of each client, using a distilled variety of interventions. I
strive to help my clients structure their goals into manageable action steps and am
trained to work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment, post-
traumatic stress disorder, suicidal ideation, complex trauma, and expanded states of consciousness.
